From Iceland to Turkey and from Russia to
Portugal, EuroGeographics represents nearly all European
National Mapping and Cadastral Agencies (NMCAs).
Currently, we are 49 organisations from 42
countries, but a figure set to increase further still when more
national cadastral and land registry organisations join
EuroGeographics.
We work with our members, partners, customers and
the European Commission:
-
to develop our European products and services
-
to promote collaboration and sharing of best practice between our
members
-
to continue as the official and united voice of Europe's NMCAs
-
to help the European Commission with its programmes and
directives
Together we are building the European Spatial
Data Infrastructure (ESDI). Our vision is therefore to
achieve interoperability of European mapping and other GI data and
so help the public and private sectors develop good governance,
sustainable growth and benefit future generations.
